ARA needs help with Medicare+Choice report

The Alliance for Retired Americans is requesting assistance with a report on the Medicare+Choice program - examining what went wrong with it.

The Alliance is looking for personal stories of people who have been disenrolled involuntarily or whose premiums and cost-sharing have jumped since they enrolled.

If you have a personal account that would help in the development of this report, please contact:

Dianna M. Porter
Director of Policy
Government & Political Affairs Department
Alliance for Retired Americans
888 16th Street, NW, Suite 520
Washington, DC 20006
Phone: 888- 373-6497 (toll free); or 202-974-8229<
Fax: (202) 974-8256

This will be the second in a series of reports issued by the Alliance, researched and written by Ms. Porter.

The first report, "Nursing Home Care: When Will We get It Right," determined that much of the neglect and abuse suffered by nursing home residents is due to a severe shortage of trained nursing staff.

For more information, or to obtain printed copies of the report, contact the Alliance toll-free at 888-373-6497.
