Governor vetoes some CCS 2009 top priority bills

                            Governor signs some CCS 2009 top priority bills

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger threatened to veto more than 700 bills passed by the legislature if a deal on water legislation was not reached.  But as the October 11, 2009 deadline for action approached, the governor relented and acted on bills presented to him in September by the legislature.

Of 12 Congress of California Seniors top priority bills the governor signed six into law and vetoed six:
